A thrilling message from Tammy and her wife, Melissa.

We are thrilled to announce that Tammy is pregnant, and expecting our twins sometime around this fall. To answer the obvious question: we used an anonymous donor from a bank. These are our first two babies conceived together, but not our first time mothering together. For the past 5 years, we have been parenting two children, from a previous time in Melissa's life. The twins will be a joyful addition to our loving home. We are a blessed family, and ask that no gifts be sent. Any gifts we receive we will donate to a local women's shelter. However, well wishes are more than welcome!

Have a great summer, everyone!
Peace, Melissa and Tammy Etheridge

September/ early October 2005

Due to the fires raging around L.A. and Southern California Tammy and her family have been temporarily evacuated as the neighborhood they are living in was threatend by the fires. Tammy and her family are now housed at a safe location. There is however no news as to the fate of their home. However Tammy reported

later that due to the dedication, courage and tireless efforts of the firefighters in the region, their neighborhood was spared the worst and no homes were lost.

Replying to a question asked in Zone City on www.tlmzone.com , Tammy listed five favorite things that she likes and they are:

1. A chunk of time with my wife, uninterrupted, doing anything.
2. Junior Mints, fresh, soft, not at
all melted together.
3. Really worn in playing cards-
I don't like stiff new ones.
4. Baskin- Robbins mint chocolate
chip ice cream: the mint chips are shavings  -     not giant chunks, and the ice cream is green.
5. Walks at sunset.

Tammy is back from her vacation. A six weeks RV trek across the US, the only problem being a flat tire.

Tammy says the Mojave is beautiful and Oklahoma has some of the best sunsets.

Webmaster hopes Tammy and her family enjoyed their vacation.

Tammy is featured in a new book on page 60 called "When I knew" by Robert Trachtenberg. A number of gay people tell the story of when they realized they were gay.
